What is the best and healthy way to lose weight fast?
I’ve heard that since I am young that I can get it off faster than someone twice my age. ( I’m 22.
) So what can I do that is healthy, fast and actually works? I don’t want to join a gym or have to pay to lose weight. ( I might buy some vitamin pills or something along that line) But nothing that will put a hole in my pocket. I’ve tried the whole water diet. (Where you cut off the sodas and just drink water) And all I ever did was just pee alot, which got annoying. Lol. But pleeaassee! People who have lost weight, what did you do and how did you keep it off? Thank youu!

Laura asks…
What was your motivation to begin having a healthier lifestyle?
There’s so many things I could do differently such as: drinking more water, exercising more, eating healthier..
I’m finding that a lifetime of bad habits are hard to change.
What motivated you to make changes for the better in your lifestyle?
water maker answers:
I used to wake up with back aches and neck pains. I got sick pretty often….at least I caught every cold that went around. I always felt like maybe I needed to shed a few pounds, so I was never entirely confident and happy with my body. I made myself quit smoking, start working out regularly, lose 15 pounds, drink more water, and eat healthier. I didn’t do it all at once. I think I woke up one day and realized how unhappy I was with my lifestyle. You never know what day is going to be your last. So everyday should be spent being happy. Yet, everyday I was spending feeling guilty for how I ate, or for how many cigarettes I smoked.
That was my motivation then. My motivation now is feeling the difference in my life. I don’t wake up with aches and pains anymore. I used to get sore from working out. Now I get sore if I don’t work out! I exercise an hour a day 4 to 5 days a week. And it can be fun….you don’t have to force yourself to run on a treadmill. Take up biking or rollerblading. Find somewhere to play sports. I joined my gym’s volleyball team. Whenever you’re having fun, you don’t even notice.
All these things…smoking, exercising, drinking…they are all just habits. You made the habits, and you can break the habits. You don’t have to do it all at once. But one by one, you can look in the mirror and be proud of what you have accomplished. Admire your trim waistline, or the extra definition in your legs. Give it a month of healthy eating and exercising; you won’t believe how much more alive you feel. You won’t even want to go back to your old bad habits.

What’s the worst that can happen if I drink coke zero everyday?
I eat really healthy and drink lots of water, I know I’ve read that coke zero can cause you to crave sweets, but putting that out of the picture, how would it affect me negatively if I drank coke zero daily? I brush and rinse with listerine well twice a day.
water maker answers:
Though, if done properly, it would have few serious health risks, since you asked about the worst that could happen, that is what I will focus on. Depending upon your brushing habits, it could damage your teeth. I realize that you noted that you brush twice daily, but depending upon when you brush, you could actually do more harm to your teeth than skipping a brushing. When you eat or drink anything with a highly acidic nature, you should immediately rinse your mouth with water, and wait at least 30 minutes before brushing. It takes about 30 minutes for the top coat of enamel to reharden, or so I’ve been told by a couple of dentists. Aside from the dental concerns, though diet drinks may not contain sugar, the substitute they use can effect your glucose levels, and if you’re diabetic, then it can cause serious concerns. Sodas in general, including diet sodas, tend to cause water retention, and thus can cause bloating, if that’s a concern for you. If you don’t tend to drink enough water, then drinking sodas can exascerbate dehydration. Because of the aforementioned effects on glucose levels, diet drinks can still lead to weight gain, as it fools your body, and can mess with your metabolism. I admit that many of these problems are generally true only when overindulgence is present, but if the rest of your diet isn’t terribly healthy, and you don’t exercise enough, many of these could still be a present concern.

Mark asks…
What is the one daily habit that I can do so that I will live an extremely long and healthy life?
Basically the “wonder habit”
Example: drinking water, exercise, meditation
But more specifically ONE “Wonder” habit that if I was to do on a daily basis, I would be extremely healthy both physically, mentally and even spiritually

Listen to your intuition.
When your intuition (not mind, not others) tells you not to do something, don’t.
For ex: Inner guidance says “Don’t eat that!!” Don’t. Inner guidance says, “Do not take the job.” Don’t.
When your intuition (not mind, not others) tells you to do something, do it.
For ex: Inner guidance says “Go up to her/him and say hi.” Do it! Inner guidance says, “Start jogging.” Start!
Follow your inner guidance. It never leads you wrong.
