Thomas asks…
Is drinking tons of water good for fat loss?
Here is what I’ve been doing: I drink water before I reach for any food. It makes my stomach feel full so I do not eat much at all. Is this much water healthy and will it work for the long term as a diet?
water maker answers:
If you drink too much water you could drown yourself and die, so be careful. Try running every day at least for 40 minutes at a good pace.

Is drinking 2 gallons of water in 2 days healthy?
So I read somewhere that this diet calls for you to drink 2 gallons of water in the first 2 days. This one guy said that after he had done it he had started shedding fat like crazy. I want to know: is drinking this much water healthy? And doesnit help you lose weight? Thanks!
water maker answers:
While you CAN die of “water poisoning,” that’s not enough water to do any damage to you, though it will make you pee a lot. If you have healthy kidneys, your body can shed off unnecessary water very quickly unless you POUND it down. Drinking a gallon in an hour would be a really bad idea. If you are going to drink more water than you need for thirst though, make sure you eat, especially fruits and vegetables, and take vitamins if you can. Also, don’t eliminate salt from your diet if you will be drinking like this. The main danger of drinking more water is losing too many vitamins and electrolytes like sodium from your blood, so you want to make sure you get enough.

does healthy eating & sweating really help to get the depo shot out of your body a bit quicker?
I’ve been on depo before & had no problems at all but this time round its making me bleed every couple days & making me feel depressed for no apparent reason. Even my doctor says not to have another shot.
Does lots of water, healthy eating & anything that will make you sweat really help to get it out a bit sooner?
water maker answers:
Nope… It will take time for it to get out of your system. Why not call prescribing doctor?

is a diet of apples and water a healthy way to lose wight?
is going on an apple and water diet healthy? a friend and i were talking and she told me her diet plan consisted of just apples and water. she drank as much water as she wanted and ate as much apples as she wanted. i know you need protine and calcium and fiber and all that jazz to keep u healthy but she insisted that taking vitamins it should be fine. im looking to lose wight myself so i was wondering if this would be an effective and healthy way to do so?
water maker answers:
You will loose weight like my friend did, then two months later he is back where he started, he also felt sick and weak.
I wont ramble on with the usual – we both know anything beyond a good diet and exercise will only offer a temporary solution – your body is where it is at due to your eating and exercise habits – the body adapts to the new diet by using fuel reserves (fat) and muscle tissue – you essentially weaken the fat burning furnace and slow your metabolism (it will be starving, and therefore new fuel will be taken and stored as a reserve/fat) – when you resume your normal eating and exercise habits you will adapt again similar to how you are now, perhaps 2lbs lighter, perhaps 2lbs heavier, but almost certainley slightly more body fat due to the stress of the above diet.
Will you look better with clothes on? Sure, for a few weeks… Will it do anything beyond that and last? Not really…
